Entry 4: What's Next for Motionless In White?
Hello Dark Passengers,
Motionless In White (MIW) has had remarkable success on their last album cycle. The album Scoring the End of the World set records for themselves, like with their song Masterpiece, which was not only the bands first song to reach the top 10, but was also their first song to reach number now of the rock radio charts as well. This album also allowed them to headline their tour, cleverly named Touring the End of the World, not just in the United States, but in Europe and the United Kingdom as well. With this album cycle coming to an end, fans are left to wonder, what's next for the band?
Although the album cycle has come to an end, the band still has many shows planned for the year. They'll be at festivals such as the Sonic Temple festival, Rockville festival, Hellfest, Louder than Life festival, Aftershock festival, and When We Were Young festival. They'll also be opening for Bring Me the Horizon on their USE Ascension Program Part I tour, as well as a small hosting their own European summer tour. All details about specific dates and where to buy tickets can be found on their social media.
But what about new music? The band released their last album in 2022, so it's about time we start asking about a new album. Rest assured, the band has said in a number of different interviews they are in the studio and working on their next release. Now, we don't have a release date for anything yet, but the front man, Chris Motionless stated the album should be released sometime in 2025. Although fans don't know when in 2025, the band did state that they're taking their time with the album and that they want to make an album that they are proud of, not just an album to they can release something.
Although we can't count down the days until the new album, we still a lot to look forward to from the band this year. It's clear they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
Until next time,
-Tristan
